About Gallery 128
Gallery 128 has been producing bespoke picture frames for over 30 years.
Charles Kean-Hammerson took over the business in 1996 and quickly established a successful business with an aptitude for making high quality picture frames to order. For Charles this was a natural progression having trained as a cabinet maker and restorer of fine antique furniture since 1978.
Our client base is wide and varied from local residents and businesses, to public galleries, museums, royal palaces, private collectors, art schools, photographers, record companies and also including artists and illustrators. The majority of our work is through repeat business and recommendation, a statement of trust that your art pieces are in safe hands.
We frame not only traditional artwork such as; water colours and oil paintings on canvas, limited edition fine art prints but also contemporary poster images and many other items such as collectables, sports memorabilia, medals, cross stitches and tapestries.
We make custom built box frames for more challenging three dimensional items such as footballs, shoes, tennis racquets and even more challenging items such as a pair of 17th century duelling pistols.
Your unusual items are the drive for us to experiment and attain a perfect solution.
Thanks so much for making my rather imperfect work look so stunning and you have turned it into something so much more desirable. London SW6 21/09/10
